1.    Why do you want to go / study in US?
>> I want to go/study there to pursue my bachelor degree in Computer science. There is the environment to learn practical approach of education rather than just theory which lacks here in Nepal. Also it is known that US is very developed in the field of technology, this will certainly help me to Learn and gain experiences for my future references. And the political situation here in Nepal is not so stable which causes numerous problems to a student like me. I am also influenced by the fact that many Nobel Prize winners comes from USA.

2.    Which universities (colleges) did you apply?
>> I applied to Cameron University, University of North Texas and University of Central Oklahoma.

3.    Which university did you chose and why? / Why did you choose CU?
>>Among all the universities that I was accepted I chose Cameron University. I kept in mind various things before choosing Cameron. This university has been progressing in their program of Computer science, the student-teacher ratio is just 22:1 so individually I can get more attention from professors and many classes here holds no more than 40 students, more than two third of the teaching staff has a qualification of a doctoral degree or above so there’s no doubt about the teaching standards. The graduation rate and retention rate are also good. In addition due to the presence of security patrol, Cameron University is potentially safe and sound. I found this university has student from 45 nations so being an international student I take this data as the proof of harmony there in campus. A wide variety of student from different culture will really foster in my global exposure.
